A message to all band alumni:

Welcome to the Cougar Pride Website!

The San Ysidro High Cougar Pride is a highly skilled and very successful family of student musicians whose goal is to provide music for all of the events that take place on the SYHS campus and within the San Ysidro community. We perform at all home football games, in Pep Rallies, in local parades, and we compete in local tournaments and festivals. 

Last year was another very succesful year for us. The Marching Band brought home a first place trophy at the Scripps Ranch Tournament. The Pep Band received a Silver rating from the Heritage Festival and the highest ranking possible (a Unanimous Superior) at a CMEA (California Music Educators Association) Festival. Our Winter Guard took 2nd Place at a WGASC competition at Eastlake High School, 1st place at the San Diego Invitational, and a Gold Medal at Championships and received another Gold ranking at their own Heritage festival!
